The Uganda Cargo Consolidators Association (UCCA), in partnership with CINAT Group Ltd, successfully concluded a two-day stakeholder consultation exercise with cargo consolidators as part of the ongoing development of BeezyLCL — a digital cargo consolidation platform designed to transform the logistics and freight forwarding industry.
Held from 23rd–24th July 2026, the consultations aimed at gathering industry insights and stakeholder feedback to ensure that the platform is tailored to the practical needs of cargo consolidators and addresses the operational realities of the sector.
Ahead of the planned general stakeholder meeting, the exercise adopted a one-on-one consultation approach, engaging participating UCCA member cargo consolidators at their respective offices across Kampala — providing an opportunity to introduce the BeezyLCL platform, gain a deeper understanding of each consolidator’s operational experiences, and collect practical recommendations to guide the platform’s development.
During the consultations, BeezyLCL was presented as a solution to key industry challenges, including fragmented communication, inefficient shipment coordination, underutilized container space, limited shipment visibility, and manual operational processes. The team demonstrated how the platform will streamline Loose Cargo Load (LCL) consolidation by improving collaboration among consolidators, enhancing shipment tracking and transparency, optimizing container utilization, and increasing efficiency across the logistics value chain.
The engagements gave cargo consolidators an opportunity to openly discuss their operational experiences, identify business-specific challenges, and propose practical recommendations for the platform’s features and functionality. The feedback collected will directly inform the ongoing development of BeezyLCL and serve as a key input during the proceeding stakeholder engagements, where stakeholders will collectively validate and refine the platform before implementation.

The consultations brought together representatives from eight cargo consolidation companies: GotRays Group Limited, Simba Land Cargo Holdings, SIF Cargo Forwarding and Clearing Limited, Judy Cargo Agency, Rapid Shipping, Simpet Global Uganda Limited, Salabed Imports and Exports Company, and MURO Uplink China International. Their participation ensured that the platform’s development was informed by diverse industry perspectives and practical operational experiences.

Throughout the engagements, stakeholders discussed critical operational requirements, digital workflows, shipment tracking, customer experience, documentation processes, and collaboration mechanisms essential to building an efficient cargo consolidation ecosystem. Their contributions are expected to significantly improve the platform’s usability, functionality, and relevance to the industry.
BeezyLCL is being developed as a comprehensive digital cargo consolidation platform that will connect cargo consolidators and other logistics stakeholders through a centralized, secure, and user-friendly system. The platform is expected to simplify cargo management, improve operational efficiency, maximize container utilization, strengthen collaboration, and reduce the cost of shipping Loose Cargo Load (LCL) cargo. Stakeholders emphasized that it should incorporate features such as real-time shipment tracking, digital documentation, cargo matching, secure user verification, integrated communication tools, and reporting dashboards.
In conclusion, CINAT Group Ltd and the Uganda Cargo Consolidators Association reaffirmed their commitment to developing BeezyLCL as a practical, industry-driven solution that responds to the real needs of cargo consolidators. By fostering collaboration, improving operational efficiency, and strengthening information sharing, BeezyLCL is poised to contribute to a more connected, transparent, and competitive cargo consolidation ecosystem.
